Our Process
We review the space and intended business use to establish a clear path from the initial evaluation to final documents.
Review → Space & Use → Plans → Permit Support → Final Documents
What to Expect During the Process
Every commercial project and intended use is different, but most follow the same general path. Open each step to see what to expect.
-
We begin by reviewing the proposed business use, desired improvements, property information, and available plans. Details about the space, equipment, occupancy, and anticipated timeline help us understand the scope.
-
We evaluate how the intended use may affect the layout, occupancy, exits, accessibility, restrooms, parking, fire protection, and other building requirements. A change from the space’s previous use may require additional modifications.
-
We prepare the plans and engineering details required for the proposed work. This may include floor plans, structural modifications, accessibility details, and coordination with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or other professionals.
-
The completed documents can be submitted to the appropriate reviewing agencies. If clarification or revisions are requested, we help address comments related to our plans and engineering work.
-
Once required revisions are completed, the final documents are prepared for permitting and construction. Additional inspections and approvals may be required before the business can occupy or operate within the space.
